Seriously, i've never met an ida member i haven't gotten along with and now i'm banned because one of you decided to for no reason other then defending myself from being called a "chaser" and a "back shooter" (by the member of ida)

Whichever member it was decided to call me a "punk" and get overly defensive for no reason. I really wouldn't expect this here but really, it's pretty messed up. Everyone that was there so how childish this person was acting and knows that i am in at no fault in this. Most of the members always seemed, for the most part, mature and grown up. I wouldn't really expect the childish behavior that was going on.

And tell me to go play with real people? and calling me a "demo noob" a lot of the stuff that was said was pretty uncalled for. All i want to do is play without someone getting mad about it and start using personal attacks for no reasons at all.

I'm not crying, i just think it's ridiculous to ban someone that did absolutely nothing.

It started because you called me a chaser and i defended myself. Most people know me and how i play and would never call me a chaser or a back shooter or whatever else you want to call me.

wow, i leaned over the edge while you were below me and shot you... that hardly consitutes as "chasing"

not to mention it was a very good game, and i defended you when people were calling you a botter.

Yea...i wasnt crying either but you were just being ignorant saying i was crying, i was being mad, told me to shut up, calling me a kid, and all that nonsense just cause I said you were chasing, which you were.
And actually, you did more than just lean on the edge. You came all the way back from the middle to shoot me near the base. Tell the story straight. 3day was there and he knows you were chasing.
If you keep pretending you are innocent that wont help you at all.
Also...i dont think you know even half of ida members.

And i know for a fact i wasn't chasing, i saw you trying to be slick off the side of the map turned around, sidestepped and shot below me. So what? It was the end of a good game, why would anyone want to start complaining? if you want to ban me for defending myself when you are the one with the personal insults, then do what you have to do.

Also, using "gay" as insult like you did is extremely immature and shouldn't be warrented in any situation. The only time i would expect it is if i was back in high school.

This is very pointless IMO, no disrespect to Rookie or ass pan but you guys are making this seem like a big issue when it's not. It seems that ass pan did backshoot/chase (PERFECTLY LEGAL), and Rookie made a comment on it. Ass pan then started making a big deal out of it, and it resulted in this...

Anyway, I think ass pan should be unbanned and you all need to put this aside.

BTW, it was a very good game too.

P.S. How old are you ass pan?

I also want to add that there is not much competition on iDA demo as there was before. There are very few skilled demo players, like ass pan, TheRedPhoenix, cyrus, Captain Herb, etc.

No pun intended but a lot of people on demo have extremely bad aim and dodging. Even when I started out UT I did not play like that, but that's besides the point.

Yep. As I said before it was a temp ban. And as I kept saying in game, there is nothing wrong with chasing besides people not liking it. Just like camping. Would a camper get all worked up cause he was being called a camper?
The problem here is that this person wont admit it and was just being an ass. So i was an ass back.

Being a chaser and back shooter is kinda like being a sniper legal and it annoys players. At the same time UT brings out the 'best" in us so when we talk shit to each other we have to take it just as we give it. But when it goes on and on and you decide to talk shit to an admin who is aliasing and ya wont give it up, then you know what you get kicked. I know Ive been kicked off MD server just for killing admin when they were inviso. So its like...shit happens!

I didn't get upset until after you made the "demo noob" and "go play with real players" comment. Sorry, but it's pretty redudant seeing people type "demo noob" all the time. Yeah i am on demo, who cares? the ida server and a few others are fine for me and i don't plan on buying UT until 2007 when so many people are saying 2k4 full is "dead". But who knows, maybe i will spring the 10 bucks for it.

anyways, it's squashed.

i called you demo noob when you were trying to be a smartass switching the story to call me a backshooter, which i wasnt really doing, and again, you insisted on it. The "demo noob" calling had actually an underlying message to it, not like other people who just keep calling others "demo noobs". Same with "go play with real players". I was in the base, defending the flag carrier. Whenever you do that there is no backshoot.
THe point was, if you played matches like pugs or ladder matches, you'd know that.
REally man, you have to stop taking things out of the context to make them support your arguments.
