Gamespy published numbers on how many servers of particular type are currently on-line.
First place is by Half-Life/Counter Hack - 31248 servers. UT2k4 is in 7th place with 2619 servers after HL2, BF2, Americas Army, ET, Neverwinter Nights.
Interesting, that is UT99 is not far from 2k4 - 2222 servers on-line.
