Yep, its gonna be a pain in the ass to finish but I'm gonna do it. My first map ,which I am in the process of making, will most likely be a sort of frag map will frew obsticals to manuver around. As for a release date I'm currently in the middle of exams but once I'm done I'll be sure to have it out for the test run within a week hopefully, when that time comes I'm hoping to put the make on ida central and let you guys test it out. :flagrun:

If you run into problems you might want to post on the FtP forums.... both GIA and Slink are accomplished mappers. I never would have fiished Monkey Lounge without them.

Yea I have already gotten help from both GIA and Slinky. So far I haven't run into any serious problems hope it stays that way. :bounce:

Beta version is done, all I have left to do is bot pathing and a few things here and there and I'm done. My map noobage is currently on the iDA West coast and hopefully soon to be on central, feel free to try it out and contact me if you find any problems :bounce:

it's on Central server too now. Good job SteveO. Map layout reminds me oversized classic map CTF-Control.

Some suggestions:

Me and Final found this map a bit dark, so I would add some lights there. Also, I would improve middle area. It's a real bottlkneck there. Even with high flag run route, it's really hard to pass middle even playing 2v2. I would suggest to squeeze the room or add one more route. Or improve high route somehow.

Thanks for the feed back; I'll see about addin a few more lights and I was also thinking of making another route to flags, I'll see what I can mix up. Also I'm starting to get some ideas for my next map. I was thinking since it's summer time I make a sort of pool type map with a deck and stuff. What you guys think? Also if anyone has any idea they think would be cool for a CTF map feel free to tell me, I'm always looking for good ideas. :bounce:

I like your map. In my opinion you could leave the map dark. It gives a special feeling to it :D
I also feel that the map needs more routes in the middle. Besides that, cool map :clap:

Yeah, something in the middle would help because it's very difficult to cap through the middle because it's such an open space. Making alternate routes to the flag room is an excellent idea. Great map so far, doesn't seem too dark to me.

I've added an up-to-date version of "Noobage" on the West Coast server (gonna try to get it on the central). I've added a new route and some lights
(for hogs because hes goin blind :) so when you get the chance give it a test and tell me what you think so far. Hopefully I will have completed this map by the end of next week and it will be ready for pug servers. :bounce:

As for central server, I'll create the same login for you shortly. Address for FTP on central server is simply idagame.com. Same ln/pw.

It's done!!! Finally Noobage is done. I'm trying to put it on both iDA central and west coast and maybe on some pug servers. I didn't worry about bot pathing because I just didn't feel like wasting my time on that, but other than that it's done and finished. I decided to keep the middle mostly the same but added some obstacles, and I added another route around the perimeter of the level. Now that my first map is done it's time to move on to #2. Any ideas?? :bounce:

Hmmmm, might have to hold out on the final version new. I found some bugs in my map that i hadn't noticed. I'll have to get back to you guys on the final version
