Help with this full problem

Whenever I go to the master server list thingy. All the server pings are over 400 at least, but when I add them to my favorites, they go wayyyy down. So like iDA central would ping 700 but when I add it to favorites it would go down to 50+. How do I make it work properly?

It may be related to your internet connection. UT may be pinging servers too fast and clog your connection. There was a setting that changes timeouts between pings but it will slow down server list loading considerably.

yeah, I have 3369, and I ping like 54 in iDA from Toronto. So I can't say that my connection sucks that bad. It's 3mb down though.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think you should download 3355 and 3369, since they have different fixes and what not. I don't think 3369 incorporates all patches below it. I may be wrong though

Try limiting the servers to those with people in them so that not so many servers have to be pinged. Other than that, you will only be playing in a few servers. Just add them to the your favorites.

The master server browser shows pings out of this world for me too. Always been like that and I always used the latest patches. I don't get 700 like you describe... but I will get 2-3 time the real ping I get when I join the server. Annoying when trying to find a server I ping decently to, used to work fine in UT2K3.

And no Cake, all patches include all previous patches... 3369 includes all fixes prior to it.

. Oh, and another thing, I got this new mouse, but whenever I click the mouse wheel in UT2004, it shifts around really quick (kinda like a bot), how do I fix that?
